Nurse visit

On Monday 10th October Year 2 had the pleasure of meeting a real nurse. Nurse Clare (Cara from Beech Class's Auntie) came into to talk to the children about nursing and the importance of good hygiene (which is linked to our healthy living in Science this term) and also Nurse Clare had a wealth of knowledge about Florence Nightingale. The children had lots of questions to ask Nurse Clare and were excited when she used the magic lotion which showed pretend germs under the U.V light.

The children have now been organised into their dot com groups. Please see seperate page for further details.

All the children got to dress up as a character and act out Florence Nightingales histroic story. Please see the photograph gallery for photos of the Year 2 children enjoying the workshop.
